God designed each of us with a plan and purpose in mind. The calling God has for your life includes a unique blend of strengths, giftings, and mental and emotional attributes. In fact, God created your inner being with these distinct qualities—qualities that can help you fully and perfectly carry out His plan.

That inward design is called your temperament.

Your temperament influences how you respond to people, places, and circumstances. In simple terms, it shapes how you interact with the world around you.

Each temperament also “speaks” its own unique language.

​

In every relationship, communication is one of the most defining factors of whether that relationship will be successful and fulfilling. Strong communication has two key building blocks:

1. Understanding your own temperament language

2. Understanding the temperament language of the other person (or people)

 

In most cases, breakdowns in relationships come down to something very specific: a misunderstanding of each other’s temperament language. When we fail to recognize how someone is naturally wired to think, feel, and communicate, frustration and confusion can quickly follow.

To build healthier, more fruitful relationships, it’s essential to understand the gifts, strengths, and corresponding potential challenges of the people we interact with.

My goal and mission is to help people discover their God-designed temperament, and then learn how to recognize the basic temperaments of the people they’re in relationship with.

 

When people are empowered by this knowledge and begin applying it, their marriages, parent-child relationships, ministries, and every other relationship can improve in significant, lasting ways.​​
